Recently, James Kent, one of our ECS Engineering Apprentices, was presented with an Apprenticeship Outstanding Achievement Award by the Northamptonshire Industrial Training Association Ltd (Nital). James has just completed a 3 year apprenticeship with ECS and is now working as an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test Engineer within the ECS Research and Development Team.

Over the last 3 years, James has worked with the EMC Team as a Technician and has taken on significant responsibility working on testing and commissioning of equipment on major ECS installations overseas.

Peter Williams, ECS Engineering Director, said, ‘We have been very pleased with the way James has developed during his apprenticeship at ECS and he has the potential to become a first-class Engineer. His Outstanding Achievement Award is very well deserved and we as a company are delighted to see his effort and hard work recognised in this way’.

James is continuing his Professional Development by studying for an HNC in Electronics
