Earlier this year, Enterprise Control Systems Ltd (ECS) along with other partners including Tecnam, Selex Galileo, FLIR Systems and Airborne Technologies, were selected by Indra to provide a cost effective, airborne surveillance system for installation into their P2006T MRI aircraft for maritime surveillance purposes.
The Indra Tecnam P2006T MRI Aircraft, which has recently been equipped with the ECS Evenlode Lightweight COFDM Transceiver, was presented by Indra earlier this month at the Farnborough Airshow where it generated major interest and was very well received.

The airborne surveillance system is suitable for operations from the coast to 150 miles outward and has purchase and operating costs that are hard to match.

Evenlode was carefully selected for this application as it is a lightweight, cost effective, multi-application COFDM data terminal which recently passed independent DO-160F EMC and environmental testing and was designed specifically to meet the demanding requirements of this type of airborne application.
