The Remote Control Unit Version 1.2 (RCU-V1.2) installed on an air platform is used as the operator’s interface to control an Enterprise Control Systems Ltd (ECS) receiver system.

General Description

The RCU-V1.2 controls the receive frequency channel, decryption and video output mode (selection of the combination of video formats carried on the dual-video Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (COFDM) signal). The unit has been designed to control an ECS Video Link Receiver (VLR) or Video Link Diversity Receiver (VLDR) unit remotely and be positioned in the airframe cockpit for operation by the air observer.
