Covid-19 Update

Two weeks on from our initial Directors’ Statement regarding our business contingency plans enacted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to update and reassure you about the current situation and the continued business operations of Enterprise Control Systems Ltd (ECS).

We remain very grateful for the commitment of our dedicated staff, our customers and our suppliers during this period of uncertainty and we thank you for your long-standing trust and support.  Our priorities remain with the safety of our staff and their families, along with maintaining the continuity and efficiency of our business to ensure ongoing support to our customers.

• ECS continues to execute business with all aspects of our operations proceeding with negligible interruption. Since our previous update we have shipped over 70 major items with a value in excess of £0.5M.

• ECS remains fully operational with 60% of our team working remotely. We are taking all appropriate actions in accordance with UK government guidance to protect our on-site team, whilst maintaining staffing levels to enable us to continue with minimal disruption.

• To our supply chain partners we say thank you for reacting positively. Many of our key suppliers have continued to sustain their operations and scheduled deliveries to us at their usual high standard. We greatly appreciate our suppliers’ continuing support, especially those who have directly shared with us their intent and contingency plans to maintain their operations.

• Our remote workers operate securely utilising the ECS IT and communications network, fully compliant with all the requirements of our Cyber Essentials Plus and UK government security accreditations. All aspects of our DO160 design; MAA, DAOS and ISO9001:2015 accreditations remain unaffected by the changes to our working practices.

• Our key government and industry customers world-wide remain closely engaged with us regarding both ongoing and future programs. We trust that our ability to react rapidly to changing circumstances will enable us to continue to satisfy our customers’ critical operational requirements.

• We will continue to keep you updated and informed of any substantive changes.
