General Description

A vehicle-based receiver system consists of the Video Link Receiver-Intermediate Frequency (VLR-IF), a single Low Noise Block downconverter and a hand held controller unit. The receiver will automatically select the matching code rate and demodulation scheme for any given input signal. Decryption is based on ‘Destinations’ and is fully automatic.
The ECS COFDM digital receiver can be used with a wide variety of covert and overt antennas.
When used with either the ECS 1 Watt or 10 Watt COFDM transmitters the resultant encrypted video link is extremely robust and ideal for surveillance in built-up areas.
Mobile applications of the vehicle-based receiver system include:
• Vehicle to vehicle
• Person to vehicle
• Aircraft to vehicle
